I completely agree with him, it brings gambling behaviour to kids and it ruins the game.

The entire concept of the spins was lost with me.. now the fact you can buy the spins is exactly gambling... I completely agree with this mother, it is ruining the game entirely, not to mention you are basically buying experience.. They might as well start selling their own gold and screw with the chinese gold-farmers.

True but it looks more like the avg. troll than a real parent. Real parents wouldn't post on RS forums, they'd go to the media. Imagine seeing a father at the BBC (or even better: Fox news) telling how Runescape ruined his son's life with gambling, now that's doing it right.

Yeah, that's a much more realistic way of dealing with it. Would Jagex even pay attention to that post?

I agree with that guy. It is hard to make kids addicted, but making them addicted and "steal" there money to win some retard things is worser. They are ruining their own game with that shit.

    *Edit

But it is not storing the whole information of the credit card. You have to type in that litle safty number on the backsite of you credit card manually.

I will try to answer all Runescape related questions!

What actually sucks is that they save the credit card info in plaintext for some people LOL.. it shows up on the screen when entered and doesn't get removed until done manually.. Thats the crazy part.

And the number on the back is usually 3 digits.. a simple generator with one forloop can go through that in seconds.

Yeah I agree with Markus, that doesn't seem like something an adult / parent would do. If they were this serious about the matter they'd have better places to fight it, not just making a post on the game's forums...

On another note, I didn't think about the fact this does institute gambling with real money and is obviously open to all ages. Would that not raise some flags somewhere? :/

I'd think so ^ hey Flight.
What I can believe is that the Information was saved their on the Kid's account making it so easily to accidentally be abused.
Also the thing with Charge Back's is all account's associated with that CC are Frozen on Rs and you can't play again until you Pay the full amount back.
