Default video card and simba question?

Hi, I have a Gateway FX6840 I7 system.... I am curious if my video card which is an ATI Mobility RADEON HD 5770 with Video Memory of 1 GB is in any way detrimental to my performance running Simba clients? Or would I be advised to buy a newer generation video card??? My basic thought is that the video card has little to do with Simba since we are using such low settings in Runescape...but still I figured Id toss this question out there.

    Thanks for your time...

I don't think the video card is even used.

Simba run runescape in safe mode which mean that it only uses the CPU. Software mode also only use CPU.
If you want to gain performance with simba, buy a better CPU and more RAM memory.

The only time your video card will be used is if you use DirectX or OpenGl mode (and you can't run those mode with SMART)

As eska says its only cpu. For future reference, although I haven't seen this confirmed by anyone, that if you stop a script and it doesn't end properly leaving a dtm behind or something, that a memory leak occurs and the client will be ultra sluggish. To fix this just shut simba completely, wait about 5 secs then reopen and restart script.

You'd need leak a crap ton of DTMs if you want to slow down a script..

I'm pretty sure I could leak a thousand DTM and my script would still run fine unless you have very little RAM memory.
That being said, you should still free your DTMs.
