    Default New pc

Well I am going to buy a new pc.

I want to be able to run software such as Phoshop CS5,Dreamweaver, SPSS,...
and games like: Modern warfare 3, runescape, perfect world intenational, Unreal...

I can just spend $550 probs $600 as maximum.

I'm not sure on what to buy a laptop or desktop pc. What should I buy?

And by the way can you recommend me a laptop or a desktop pc for this price too?

    Thanks.

Building your own desktop will yield the greatest performance for your price range. Avoid laptops, especially since laptops in that price range are only good for email and word processing. For your graphics intensive applications (games, whatever), you need a good video card more than anything. Look into an AMD 6950 or an AMD 7950.

    Build own for sure.
It's a fact that in pretty much all benchmarks latest Intel > Latest AMD processors BUT since you're on a budget go AMD. Honestly it's barely even noticeable and both are great!

Like Solar said above, AMD makes thing's called APUs which is a CPU and Graphics Card in one! Saves a lot of money and leaves room for upgrades later too. Look up Llano AMD APUs to check them out.

www.newegg.com is very popular and so is www.amazon.com too
