    Default Abyss runecrafting help

I'm planning to try making an abyss runecrafting script, so I did a little test to keep teleporting to the abyss to check the position and obstacles positions. I find that everytime I teleport to abyss, both the position and obstacles position isn't the same.
My problem is the obstacles position that kept on changing. For example, I want to go through only the gap(agility) obstacle. How do I find it everytime I get to abyss?

    Thanks.

I would say a combination of color and uptext, but I think the agility one is the same color as everything in the abyss. I would rather use the thieving obstacle instead as I don't think there are many white things in there...but honestly I don't even see that working.

If I were to use thieving obstacle which is a little white and green, how do I actually run around the abyss and find the color and uptext at the same time? Using a while...do statement?

You could walk to 1 section, check the area, walk to the next section, check the area, but I don't see how you can walk to the other sections of the map since you don't always spawn in the same place. Maybe a 360 degree radial walk, dunno.

You could use the distance between the outer&Inner walls of the Abyss as markers of direction, as was done in previous color Abyss scripts. I am not familiar with it exactly as I have not personally seen it, but I have heard that is how it was accomplished. I do not know how current Abyss scripts find direction.

You got a point there. So I have to figure out how to solve that too. Wondering how they made the abyss script.

The distance seems quite the same, except the north part. There's abyss script released public before? Might wanna refer to the method.

The script(extremely outdated, its from like 07) is hidden in the archives of Member's Scripts so it would be useless to link you to it. Perhaps with a little searching you would be able to find the thread that was in the help section god-knows how long ago about this topic, as that is where I saw the method using distance between the walls. The method used was extremely complex however though

    From 07?! Mother of God.
Well, thanks for letting me know. Anyone have a better suggestion?

Yep, this is the trouble with making an Abyssal Rune-crafter. Everything is easy apart from getting from the outer ring into the inner ring. Like you said, the tough part is every trip to the abyss your location and object locations change.

The only constant factor with the abyss is that the 'Tunnel' obstacle is always on the opposite side of the abyss from where you teleported in. It's a long ways to walk, but atleast you know for sure every time where that obstacle is located.

I found SPS map was good for walking.
The hardest ones to pick up I found was Agility as its soo close colour to the abyss it self and the creatures, Thieving and Mining and Chopping are easy to find as they have distinct colours.

You need to re-post your abyssal crafting script in the Members section. I'd like to do some modifications to it.

Wow, thats something new to me. Might want to think of a function to make that works.

I was planning on using SPS map to go to a fixed position. For example, the position of obstacle in front of the rift to death runes. Or maybe you should just let me refer to your abyss script part that runs from the outer ring to inner ring
