    Default MSVCR71.dll [help please]

    hey guys, so i am having issues running an alching script.

    im getting the error "MSVCR71.dll" was not found

    What i have tryed :

    Copying the file from the java folder and putting it in the following places :

    - C:/simba (main folder)
    - System
    - system32
    -system64

    i would put the dll in my the folders 1 per try and it would not work any time



    C++ Redistributable Package was also installed and it did nothing

    i have searched as much as i can. nothing is working

    copy in java or system32 try both

    i have put it everywhere possible its not working still ( and yes i am restarting simba when i retry it with new spots ect.)

    Download msvcr71.dll (as a ZIP file; scroll to the bottom second option) - http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl....shtml?msvcr71

    Place it here - C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\msvcr71.dll

    just did this and closed out simba and tryed again, still the same issue :S

    C:/Windows/system
