    Default Portable Simba?

Is there a way to make simba portable as in you can run it from your pendrive/memory stick on any computer without an install.

I think this would be cool as i could script when im not at home and somewhere else.

I'm not sure if that's possible... because you would need all the includes and stuff like that. Your best bet would to just take the install file and put it on the flash drive and just install it from there.

I don't know you might be able to if you copy everything from the flash drive and put it in the Simba folder in the C: drive. Give it a shot let me know how it goes.

You can test it by copying everything to a flashdrive then uninstalling Simba and try to run it from the flash drive.

You can just copy the 'Simba' folder onto your Flash disk, it'll serve the same purpose.

You will need to runtime files for .net im not sure which version but if i remember i had to download it as i got an error opening simba someone can tell you which version to download
just place the .dlls in the same folder as simba.exe and it will work on a usb stick

Simba is already portable, you can move the whole folder anywhere (as long as it is not a "very" old install) and it will work fine.

No, That is for SMART, you can find the library in the Java bin directory. DO NOT DOWNLOAD RANDOM LIBRARIES FROM THE WEB!

Great so you can just copy the entire Simba folder!

I installed on like 3 different computers by hand and had to fix different errors each time lol

0.99 will be truly portable by default. Give the release candidate a shot: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80153
