Default Not sure if hacked, or Jagex stole my gold.

So like a few people im sure, I have done RWT before. New to scripting and doing my best with that at the moment. I know RWT is frowned upon, but working full time I dont have time to sit hours on end and earn the cash.

Anyways, Pked today for a while and did OK. Logged out and skyped with gf (currently deployed in the middle east) and decided to go on after. Found myself teled from edgeville to lumby lode stone, 1 diamond (noted) in inventory with 0 gp in money pouch. check my bank to find over 10m in items removed, but random high value items remained...

Lost a total of 60m today and Im not sure if I was hacked, or jagex decided to take money from me from RWT. I have no marks on my account, and no messages which leads me to believe I was hacked..

Give me info guys Im afraid a script I have used may have granted someone access to my account, and now im fearing for my computers security. I have mostly only used S1N scripts, and a few others but all were reputable scripters.

Def hacked im sure. Items were sold in GE for cash, and most likely traded to another account. I dont think Jagex would sell the items before removing...

Im on a mac, which also baffles me. I know its not impervious to viruses, but I thought I had a better chance..

nah it wasnt jagex. and deffinatly wasnt any of sins scripts who hacked you. possibly family? friends? maybe a friend of yours looked over your shoulder got your pass. maybe a bad link? not to sure but jagex wouldnt sell your items and they wouldnt loadstone you to lumby.

sorry for your loss and goodluck making your gold back. it sucks but it'll happen

You're right, Jagex doesn't need to sell your items, they can simply wipe out your wealth on your account through their database, no need to even log on.

I would start by changing everything on your account; password, recoveries, email, PIN. From now on whenever you log out make sure your wealthy items are stored in your bank, including your armor and what not. If somehow a 'hacker' got your password it doesn't do them a whole lot of good if you have a PIN. Although, I have heard there's ways to erase a PIN...

    Current projects:
[ AeroGuardians (GotR minigame), Motherlode Miner, Blast furnace ]

Changed password, added a pin, recoveries set, email will be registered soon..
Im just very disapointed, and feel violated. Im currently doing a scan on my computer for trojans/keyloggers whatever, and I found one. FLVplayer.exe apparently unrelated to my issue based on what I have read, but im literally only 1/10th of the way through my mac with the scan.

u can erase pin by clicking "forget pin" then wait 7 days (which is pretty sufficient for owner to recover acct).

Did u use any other bots (rarebot/pb/anything), and u r sure u didnt get a java driveby or stuffs like that? Did u enable security.sex?

Just because you are on a mac that does not make you immune to the many threats that are on the internet.

    Heres a theory...

Have you asked someone for help with your script?
Have you entered your username/pass in a script and accidentaly copy and pasted it somewhere or to someone?

Usually this happens. People will ask for scripting help cause something isnt working and copy and past the script to someone without removing the username and pass...

    It happens, im just asking

you must have clicked a bad link. im pretty sure a java drive by is like you get a java pop up that asks you to enable something you do and get hijacked.

You got hacked, I'm 99% sure of it. I've gotten wiped before, have read about people getting wiped, and you get left with 1 GP in your money pouch/bank. Also, you aren't moved after you've been wiped. As far as I know, they don't even login to your account like Flight said.
