there is no public proof, as its closed source. By a lot of people do complain.
Just like asking "Is the american government corrupted"? You gotta decide the answer for yourself

I personally think american government has some good left in it, can't say the same about epic/power/rare

I have epicbot and I used it before I came to this little ray of sun we call SRL. It's legit. I got a couple of bots in my army in the mining guild with it

From what I have read, but don't take my word for it, when you download Epicbot, a different file with some sort of virus comes with it, if you choose. The bot itself however, does not.

I don't know how credible that is because I haven't used it or even downloaded it, but, yeah.

    Be careful.

Find out for yourself is all I can say. Bot with Epicbot for a while. Put your username and password in. Have no pin. Keep your money OUTSIDE your bank and money pouch the whole time...then keep botting with Epicbot. Goodluck.

its 100% legit, its not the best bot out there, rsbuddy by far dominated the floor, but epicbot is not a virus. i got hacked by a clone of epicbot and lost full dragon so i was anxious to return to it after the nuke, but they were back and i was depserate so i hit them up at http://www.epicbot.com "no advertising intended" and i was soon levelling up just as i had and my trust in their client slowly grew. Now i am a vip and own pro hunter, however, i share with a friend who has pro herblore, pro chopper and pro agility and it is 110% SAFE. thats my opinion from my experiences with the client so please dont reply to this cussing and saying im lieing, its safe to me goodluck. However, atm it is down, one negative about it :P

Tell me, since its closed source, how do you know its safe? Did you reverse engineer it? Its not looking good for epicbot.. so many people that have used it have been hacked.

I'd say use it for your useless throwaway accounts, but do NOT bot on something with more than 100k- 2mil, it's just not safe. Its legit though- use at your own risk.

Epicbot is legit as long as you don;t record your log in details in the client.
And one more thing: try to log in with an on-screen keyboard...that's what i do for my security.

I've heard it has a virus it, and many people got their accs stolen. TBH I wouldn't trust with epicbot, there's a post here to remove the virus in it. But well... I think it's still your own risk

I don't think epicbot is a virus itself, but it offers additional downloads in the installer which you can untick. The additional downloads themselves have the MALWARE, but they are easily avoidable.

Before the bot nuke my virus scanner detected one. But that can happen with a lot of programs that don't really have one.
