Ahh I love Timer anyway.. Nice guy, pretty smart. I have him on MSN. I'm not going to say he's lying because I'd be unfair. Only SOME WERE like that towards him. Zytex is nice, Freddy is nice though I don't see him around much anymore, Ben is nice to me, and Wanted/Icefire is nice though I don't seem him anymore either, Markus is nice. Yeah yeah I may have missed a few names, don't hold me to it. Just mentioning some that welcomed me and argued at the same time with me.

IIRC Timer got in an argument with the staff here and got banned then came back and got banned again or something.. Got my opinions on what was right and wrong.. I say just let it be and don't bother getting involved.

A post like this will get everyone arguing who was right and wrong.. I wouldn't flame Simba though. People here are pretty nice. It's as chill of a forum as you can get. We rarely have flame wars. You're pretty free around here I guess.

Idk, timer is a young kid as far as I know, he's only 15.

But truly, who is anyone to flame a working bot when they are the main coder of a not-working bot?

Simba is a long term project in my eyes, it also teaches people a lot. Reflection works 1/3 days of the week and is so easy to code you don't really gain any experience.

    Found the thread btw,

    http://www.powerbot.org/community/to...rsbot-over-it/

If you don't trust me, as I am a newcomer so its understandable, its in bot discussion and called "Why do people hate simba/prefer RSBot over it?"

Don't flame (at least not too hard). Lets not stoop to their level.

He's just mad because he got banned here.
He's more immature than me, believe it or not.

Purely because the forums look fake
That needs fixing.. LOL I thought the same thing back then as well. It's the mainpage/Satelite layout. The threads look nothing like that. And Wizzup is already working on a Scripts Manager plugin or something that will make things easier. Just reading why they don't like Simba should only help improve it I guess.

My eyes hurt after scrolling through that thread - they got really ugly skin w/font colours.

Anyway, I remember trying to join Villavu.. nightmare. Our homepage should direct us straight to the forums.

Who cares? It's Timer. This is just him being weak and showing his frustration.

Timer has been banned (permanently) several times on this forum for purposely starting flame wars over and over. He has been very offensive in general and was rarely helpful - in contrary to what some might state about him, he's been a very unlikable person around here. Not only that, but he has been spreading lies for years, trying to get people angry with me and others.

It's only natural he makes this kind of posts; he's pathetic and knows no better way to direct his rage and anger. He's probably incapable of a more mature standpoint. I'm happy he's no longer here and doesn't represent this community.

Perhaps he's just upset that we're an ever so strong and close community that he used to be part of.

Yes, the main page has been an issue. Hobbit was working on a nice one but I haven't spoken to him in a long time.

The best way to contact me is by email, which you can find on my website: http://wizzup.org
I also get email notifications of private messages, though.

Lol I prefer simba simply because it gives you the opportunity to learn how to code and turns newbies like me into contributers unlike the leechers on rsbot who live for the "free bots"

Powerbot offers you the opportunity to learn as well. I have made a tutorial there.

    Aryan Vs SCAR + SRL
    allllll over again.

One community is impatient as hell, while villavu is not. Guess its why we're still standing.

My SCAR accounts are still my main botting cash mules, My reflection chars are 6 years banned. Just sayin'

The difference is, learning is not encouraged. I'd bet almost none of the new SRL members would have learned how to script if they could just download any script they want without needing to learn a bit.

    What I wrote on PB.
    ---

    If you really must know...
Their staff are corrupt and jackasses, they act nice until they brain wash you.
Simba is a buggy, horrible replacement to SCAR, which made SRL possible.
SRL doesn't credit their origins, such as SCAR, which to date, is way better than Simba.
Honestly I have been there for more than half a year (Joined in November) Have yet to see one point of "brain washing" or "jackassness", I am greeted daily with great communication and friendliness. The staff has been nothing but helpful, a bit old fashioned but I believe that is exactly what the RS community needs at this point take us back to the roots of our success wanting what is BEST for the community, not money.
Simba is buggy? Simba can be used for more than RS, the only "Bugs" I see are in actual scripts where it is not Simba's fault but rather the Scripter's fault. (I run Simba for days at a time, so I can't imagine it is Simba) Also Everything I mean EVERYTHING is a work in progress, expect it to improve over time .
Simba does credit SCAR, it states where it came from sure not in every nook and cranny but does that really matter? As long as the general public knows where its roots are from, crediting them on every corner is not necessarily especially if anything past a certain point of time is completely unrelated to SCAR.
Let them wallow in their stupidity.
What really does this bring to the conversation at hand; shows the insecurity of some of the members of PB. This is one of the reasons I moved to SRL But don't lose hope, I know there is still a decent member base in PB who can spit value into a conversation (There are a few on this thread!) .
    ------
On an ending note, setting Simba up is easy. If you really need help SRL members (Like myself, are more than happy to help.)
Not trying to be cocky but just to warrant I was someone of a little importance I was an official middle man here at PB, back when we had Mybb forums (and an actual rank), and after that I was Moderator for a short period of time (elected, I wrote some essays/questions/etc.). I was also an author on rsbots.net, Moderator on Tip.it (Retired), and last but not least SRL member in SRL.

Best of luck PB , I know this community is a solid one and has a very good base I mean no disrespect I am just trying to say things as I see them.

It's because villavu/SRL is a screen scraper that doesn't pose a threat to Jagex's game because it is a color bot.
