    Hey guys, just wondering how hard it is to pick up scripting? Tired of being a leecher and wish to hopefully give back to the community

    To be honest, it varies depending on your commitment.

    If you're committed, you should have the basics scripting in your back pocket by the end of this week.

    This^^ ive reread most of the tuts and that and have gotten the rough idea so far but still need to read a little bit more.

    just read,read then read some more haha easiest way!

    Best way is just start. Read some tuts, look through the scripting help forum to see if you are getting the same errors. There is a wealth of knowledge around here. You should have a very basic working script in a few hours of solid work. By the end of the week you should be good to go.

    From there you can only get better. But as Abu said, it depends on if you really want to or not.

    I would recomend watching the Youtube tut's by yohojo, they give you some flesh on the bones and then I pretty much learned by watching how others built their scripts
