    Default Private script question

Hey I have a quick question lets say I created a script for my use only would this decrease the chance of jagex finding out how the script works? And does simba not read or write to the game code at all and is it just 100 percent colour?

    Yes, Simba is 100% color.

Using a private script won't necessarily decrease the chance of a ban, but it can only help.

Not true. I'd say it's a similar situation as encryption methods.. There's a reason that using the most known encryption methods are almost always a better idea than using your own encryption method..

A public script takes criticism and people can give ideas as to how to make it even less detectable. A private script doesn't have these advantages, and, therefore, can typically be more detectable than the most widely known scripts.

    summed it up in one..
if the private script is poorly wrote then the chance of being banned is more likely then using a public script

I can agree with that, but only to a certain degree. There are alot of factors that can come into play; such as scripting ability, methods used, the situation being coded for, and others I cannot think of

But I think to say that using the generic version makes you less generic (in all cases) is very... well, incorrect.

Well of course it can be safer to have a private script in some cases, but, in my opinion, public scrutiny can almost always make for a better product.
