    Default Rs Cache problem

Okay, so because I have been using a lot more accounts at one time I have noticed that room on my C:/ Drive has dwindled. I found out today it is because everytime I a new runescape client, it creates a new cache for that client.

To explain it a little better, if I am running two bots, one botting firemaking, the other training smithing, I will see something that looks like this:

Now this wouldn't be a problem but the way I have my drives set up, it is eating up most of the free space I have on C:/ because I have 6 caches at 512mb/ cache, that's over three Gigs of RS caches.

Is there a way to rs only use one of the caches or will it always create new ones as I run more and more clients at one time? Because I am pretty close to out of space on C:/

Anyone? Any information would be amazing! Or if I could make the caches run out of my storage drive, that would be fine.

Edit: Before I get flamed, I must say, I am not gold farming, I am botting three accounts for myself, one for my brother and two for a close friend, so none of this "OMFGzorz th1s guyz a g0ldf4rm3rzorz!!!@111212!2!!!@!@!@121"

My advice would be re-partitioning(Making your c drive bigger by making other drive smaller) or running less bots.

Weequ, I think I might be stuck making the partition bigger. I figured 40 gigs would be plenty for a C:/ drive... Appears not, I mean, I still have 3 gigs free but I don't like the red :P

Don't think there's a way around it, one per account sounds right.
Think of a public place, and multiple people playing, each person's account needs to cache different things/locations/settings and they don't want anyone's stuff to 'overlap' or whatever.

500mb is kind of a lot of space.... but your C drive is really dinky.... I'd repartition some space over to it.
Why do you partition you drives out like that? Or are they all different drives? Or do you have a SSD?

I partition them out because it prevents me from losing all of information when I get a virus and have to format my C: drive.

    ^That should'nt happen very often/ever lolz .

Microsoft Security Essentials + MalwareBytes + Common Sense = You're fine.

I've only had to do that once when I was in 6th grade and downloaded something from a SUPER dodgy site.

I used to have like 70-80 gigs on my C drive because I thought I would only keep the really important(OS etc) stuff there so they can be loaded a little faster. But it grew and grew. Then I re-partitioned it so that I my C drive is now 200 gigs.

Had to delete my E drive because there was files there blocking and my partitioning software couldn't handle it. Well I just copied E drive to external memory and moved it back to new E drive after I was done.

Haha I have all three, it's something I have done since Windows 98 and 2000 days. Although somehow my MalwareBytes is no longer a registered version.

Yeah lots of people here recommend it on many threads.
It won a poll on lifehacker for best windows antivirus:
    Polling: http://lifehacker.com/395046/five-be...s-applications
    Results: http://lifehacker.com/5865356/the-be...pp-for-windows

It's free, super light weight, and works very well.

    It is a great program.

E: Anyone know why Windows uses so much for the OS? I had Windows 7 Enterprise on my last system with a 25gb C:/ drive and I always have 5 gigs + free, on this new computer its seem the the install is itself over 20 gb's and I really don't have much on my desktop so I'm not sure where the space is going. Hiberfil is turned off, so that's not the problem.

Why don't copies of windows come with Microsoft Security Essentials? I'm sure 12mb isn't much to add

Okay, I have run into a problem that I cant merge a now empty A partition with my C partition. I'm not sure why. The only option I have it to merge it with the E partition that I just took it from. Im using EASEUs Partition Master. Anyone offer some help?

Start Menu> Type 'partition' > Click Create and Format Hard Disk Partitions
Try using that and see wassup.

I just realized that the partitions were not touching each other so I had to make the partitions adjacent before merging them. I think formatting Hard disk partitions would result in having to reload everything would it not?

Edit: All fixed up now! Thanks!

Yeah it's probably because files on your D drive were on the way. That's what I tried to explain in my earlier post.

Glad to hear you got it fixed.

Did you have to temp delete D drive or did your partitioning software move the files for you?

I reduced the size of my Storage drive (E by 40 gbs, then had to move the unallocated space so that it was on an adjacent sector of the drive and then merged the unallocated with C: to make it 80 gb total.

on the bottom where you see the drive partitions, it showed the unallocated on the right of E: so all I had to do was drag it next to C: and restart and it moved the unallocated so I could merge it with my C: drive.

I might make a tutorial on how to make partitions and why now :P

Found another culprit, because I have recently started running more bots, my Pagefile allocated memory automatically grew from default (not sure what that was) to 12gb! I cut it back and now I should be fine again even with my old partition size.

EDIT: Sorry about the double post, meant to edit the previous post!

    here
