    Default How does rep work?

Hey I was just wondering how "repping" worked. I'm not asking for it or giving it out or anything I was just wondering how this system worked. On the homepage I have "1 rep power", when I go to my control panel I have "25 points". And when I look at one of my posts I can see a green block. What do these things have to do with the rep system exactly and what do they mean? Thanks!

You start out with 10 rep and 1 rep power. Your rep power is the amount of rep that is added to another user when you rep them (and if you derep them half of that is deducted iirc). Your rep power will increase with every 1k posts, 1 year registered (factors like these). To rep someone you click the blue checkmark on the right side of a post.

1 rep power, 10 rep points. 1 green block means 1 rep power, the one below your name, below Chicken.

They don't want to tell us how that works. It is probably a combination of activity and longevity. The staff got tormented demon, that is not obtainable as normal user.

Lol someone de-repped me and in the comment bar he put "like this". Lost 1 rep point so you must be brand new. Mind leaving me your name? Thanks.

Whenever you make a thread remotely linked to the topic of rep, you will end up getting de-repped at some point for absolutely no reason.
