    Default On death, walk back.

So me and a few other people were talking about "deathwalk" or whatever, and I came up with an idea. It may be out of Simba's world though, but I think if we get a few coder's on it, we might be able to make it work. Here's the idea:

Create a script that 1. Get's coordinates, 2. Get's either Minimap location, or "last known entrance", or just writes a DTM Path while it's walking. I know it sounds hard, but if we were able to create this, a lot of people would be grateful

And also, when it gets back to location, it picks up anything on that one spot.

An average scripter should be able to make a deathwalk himself. So i don't really think there is a need for this.

From what I hear though, all the deathwalks do is walk back to the area, just like if the script were to go to a bank. This idea is more advanced imo, as it picks up the items (that is, if we get it to go to the exact location when you died)

    This isn't particualrly more advanced.

Adding an extra procedure to pick up your iteams after walking back to where you died isnt exactly revolutionary.

if your talking about a universal deathwalker I couldn't tell you how that would be possible, it probably is but it doesn't seem very usefull for the ammount of effort required to make that sort of thing.

Well, it'd have to use a grid, or cordinates, or a path tracker, I went slightly more in-depth in the script request thread, maybe you'll know what I'm talking about there. It's universal, and has to go to the PRECISE spot where you died, and pickup the items on that spot. If you just have it pick up items in the area you died, it could just go around and pick up useless crap.

I don't think a 'one size fits all' or 'build as you go' death walk can be made (or it will be hard/wierd).

Each script can include a specific death-walk for it's specific location if the scripter wishes to make one. They can use DTMs, SPS, or ObjectDTMs (or other tools) to make their own.

But since Simba/SRL doesn't use a coordiante system like injection/reflection bots you can't just really make a one fits all deathwalk function, each one will be specific for each script.

Well, at least it was an ok idea... If only it would work. Thanks for your guys' feedback on the idea
