Default Simba scripts, clients and CPU usage

I'm wondering if anyone's knowledgeable on the topics in the title.
I haven't thought anything of it before, but it's getting annoying now that my computer overheats and is beginning to make a lot of noise.

I've got 4GB of RAM, yet my CPU usage is at at 100% at 2.6GB of usage.
I can see that it states 66% of physical memory's being used, which explains the remaining RAM but I'm just wondering exactly what the 98-100% is referring to. (My understanding is that it's what's being processed at the moment, and the physical memory is what's available to be re-processed again quickly, but what's the relationship?)

At the time of the screenshot, I had 3 simba scripts open (training fletching), all set at very low on the slider on the right side of their SMART clients. They've been running for a couple hours, along with about 3 tabs on Chrome. The computer itself had been on for a few days, however I reach 100% usage off the bat (with 3-4 scripts at 2-3GB) even if it's just been started.

    I'm running an i5, 2.27gHz 64 bit unit.
    nvidia Geforce 310m chip.

Well, just because your RAM isnt maxed out doesn't mean the Processor is not capping out.

from what I have seen different scripts seem to use different amounts of CPU and RAM. Try using a different script or to monitor things using the resource monitor. There you can see which script is using the most average CPU. Try BroMaples, FantasticFletcher, or Harry's fletcher. Personally I have seen the least amount of CPU/RAM used with BroMaples (13% average CPU usage per script over a 6 hours period).

    My Specs:
    i7 2760QM at 2.4GHZ or 3.5GHZ when parked.
    NVIDIA GeForce 555M (3GB)

I would think that you should use somewhere around 1 bot/thread (do not set affinity to one thread/bot because this decreases overall performance).

3 Scripts as simple as fletching, with the FPS bar set low, should not be taking up that much CPU at all.

Someone's scripts are leaking bad.. Either that or Simba + Smart's CPU usage degraded.

Scripts shouldn't use 2.4 GB of RAM, there is most likely a memory leak.

Depends on the CPU really. I'm using a Pentium 4, it was beast around 2005. Running a single script with the FPS bar at 20% gets 30% use. Running two at that gets around 90% and both clients get laggy.

I've been using Harry's SWFletch 1.02, which automatically sets the slider low upon startup which is why I've been wondering why it's taking up so much cpu as well.

Thanks for the offer, I'll leave them on for now and try to get back to this issue in the morning (Might send you a pm for some help tomorrow)
