    Default Help

Ok guys so the last 24 hours I've had issues with Simba scripts mainly my construction larder script / door script and I just thought it was the scripts...

I switched to smelting today and the script ending up shutting down on me too....Idk if its lagg or what but I haven't done anything differently, I am not running anything extra if anything I am running less.

Any suggestions to fix my problem? I defragged the computer last night, did updates yesterday evening too & I disabled the vista gfx so it now looks like basic windows 98.

Could be that the latest windows updates messed with your computer, try doing the time restore thing back to to before the updates and try it from then.

Either way maybe just restart the computer and download simba again?

    Just my thoughts

I'm going to try and trouble-shoot some more hoping to hear back from others before I reset my computer back, reinstalling simba.

Issue I have Benny is; some of those updates I installed are "important" updates and it was 56 of them, how do I decide whats important and whats not.

Secondly; there is a little bar that can be slided on right hand side of Simba's RS window what is that used for?

Thats for changing the FPS rate, which may help to reduce lag.

Yeah i had important updates installed too but then I took it back and let it update again and it's been running sweet every since. It was just an idea to help

Raising the bar up increase the FPS so the lag decreases I think..

Uhm well normally you should just leave it where it is unless you want to decrease lag..

I'm confused if raising the bar reduces lag, why wouldn't I want to raise the bar all the way up; what can it do to my scripts?

Because it munches your CPU or RAM?

E: it just depends on the script your running and your computers power

I'm back at 50/50 or as close to half way as possible by judging by eye...

If it crashes again I'll try max, I've only done like 75% or so. I was chatting with another guy and he said to do full max regardless of PC performance.

having it at max didn't last me more then 30mins...I now set it to have but once I started Smart; it jumped my bar up a little, does the FPS have a auto setting, where it sets it to what you need?
