Quite honestly the FBI should have taken down these servers when they first captured the bot net. I mean, how do you feel that the FBI had control of the DNS servers that millions of computers were routing their DNS through, and they had the opportunity to track all of that data and store it rather than notifying people right away.

Yeah, I was pretty pissed about this. Why wait until you turn off the servers to warn people, instead of killing them a long time ago.

Seriously. They set up a whole organization just to run those servers that was supposed to end in January, but then they petitioned for an extension and got it extended till July. So now they're dealing with the exact same problems they would have dealt with on day 1 if they had shut the whole thing down. What have they been doing??
