    Can somebody tell me how its possible to keep SMART alive when you stop your script and run again?

    This would help me alot with making a temporary fixed SRL lib, because i am fixing some functions in the library so its possible to make some basic bots again

    if this temporary SRL works I might place it somewhere for download
    (if this is allowed by the forum moderators)

    Even when Simba is fixed, I won't be able to bot.
    I still have the item glitch.
    I tried deleting my cache, but there must be some more cache stored elsewhere.
    Where are the locations for all of the caches?

    There are some great guides in the tutorial section for beginner's and advanced scripters. I'd suggest to look there for a good guide while we wait for an official fix. Coh3n has some great tutorials that i found helpful when i arrived here.

    Update, or change your coordinates within smart. Some people were kind enough to even provide exact codes.

    You'll also need to re-write a log in script. Simba will still know when SMART is done loading to start typing your login name. Many of the SRL login commands are going to fail, so write your own functions.

    Also many other many other functions are broken... really hard to bot with these functions.

    rs_getUpText broken..
    Update SRL...?

    ANYTHING that dealt with coordinates is broken. All you have to do is edit the function yourself... or re-write one. Getuptext is broken because it is looking in the wrong place for text now. Fix the coordinates.

    You can double click the function to see how THEY coded it, you don't even have to think of it yourself. Then edit it yourself, and done.

    Item glitch hadn't been fixed by rs yet. The cache was just something they suggested.

    They should have a proper fix soon. Just like srl.

    You've surely got to understand that not every single person using this has to be a coder..

    Ok so you say that coordinates need changing... I changed the SRL/srl/misc/smart 503s to 553s.. ok, it logs in. Welcome screen - the cursor doesn't move to the right spot.

    Now what you were saying is that the actual script you were using needs to be edited - Bullshit. You should've been more specific and actually say those things exist in the same directories as before, login.simba, inventory.simba, etc. NOT the actual fucking file.

    Thanks for nothing.

    E: You know a better way to teach people would be to assist them instead of redirecting them to fucking generic tutorials.

    LOL the more you people post like this, the more the fix gets buried in the thread. I posted 3 temporary fixes that already work. Uptext works as well.. LEARN TO READ.

    The first post said if you don't know what ur doing, don't post. Yet you guys post a bunch of crap and rage at eachother and bury the temporary fixes. Good luck finding it now.

    P.S. Simba itself will be the official fix.

    Lol, it's funny because i've seen the stuff you've posted.

    It's useless if I don't know where to put this function, where to call the function, which directory, which file(s), what fix you actually meant, whether it was the shit about globals - maybe it was that .rar you posted a while back..

    Tried the .rar, didn't get past lobby screen.

    ..

    SAY 'OFFSET' ONE MORE TIME. I DOUBLE DARE YOU:

    Which is why I left is as the 4 constants. x and y at login screen, x and y at Lobby/Ingame screen and left the bar how it is. Only problem is I had to use the wrapper you suggested for the uptext.

    OR:

    Offset the mouse like I did in the second suggestion. Only problem with this is that anyone using GetMousePos will have to add 50 to their y value.

    That's it. Both of the suggestions tested fully and both work fully. But yes no need to rush anything at all. One wrong thing will throw everything off.
    I see. But I have to do two of those then or something like:

    Simba Code:
    function SRL_BarCoord(y: integer; InGame: Boolean): integer;
    begin
    if (InGame) then
    result := y + InGame_Const //+ 50.
    else
    result := y + Login_Const; //+ 22.
    end;

    @Everyone else saying cut this off and cut that off.. Mind saying how?
    Yeah I know.. thats why I suggested two options. A: where all values have 50 added to them which I did a couple pages back. Or B: where the crap is offsetted in the mouse function itself. Or C: Someone else's ideas :S
    Well this is my last and probably final suggestion: https://github.com/Brandon-T/SRL-5
    We now have 3 options:

    The offsets I suggested before where all values had + 50 added to them and + 22 on login screen.. Only thing required fixing was uptext. That's it.
    This option that I'm offering now described below. Where the only things that are messed up is stuff like GetMousePos. All finder functions read from the offsetted value automatically. Thus I am able to bot right now since everything else works.

    Or Someone else's suggestion in the thread.

    I used the Pointer Offset and offset the MMouse function. That's about it. All static values automatically reflect the changes.

    For example I don't have to change all the values in any include. The only includes actually changed were login.simba and player.simba.

    Globals hold the pointer offset function and the login and player files will call them when necessary.

    This means the entire SRL include still works. I changed nothing else. Uptext functions work too but like I said the downside is getmousepos and functions that return coordinates base on the client's dimensions. All finder functions work normally as they should and scripts will require the least amount of updates.

    basically if your script uses get mousepos and relies on it heavily then every time you call getmousepos just add 50 to the y values.
    Hey look, I dug up your posts. Give me another excuse for not explaining things to people normally.

    LOLOL Offset the noobs.. Oops meant upset. There I said offset.. Do something about it.

    You're damn disrespectful. I don't owe you anything at all.. Who do you think got this working: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86277

    Go blame yourself not me. Don't rage at me, it's not my fault you decided to post rage comments and can't figure it out. Out of 26 pages all I read starting from the 15+ pages are just rage.

    My little pony fixed it.. didn't she?

    The reason I'm unnamed is to keep my inbox clean from noobs like you.. It's useless? That's why the people that can read and understand have it working. Guess I blew my cover now.. W/e..

    Lastly.. when I say offset, that a conversation between me and ben. Not you or anyone else. He told me to offset the pointer. It's not my fault you read it and didn't understand that it's not meant for you.

    @ the guys who said uptext can't be edited, none of you read Wizzup's post..

    Simba Code:
    //In globals.simba add this to the bottom like he said before:

    Function GetUptext: String;
    begin
        Result := RS_GetUptextAt(7, 57);
    end;

    I have only one single word for your post: Really....
    If you can't even manage to update the files that are located in the simba folder which is pretty much basic things like registering on this forum, I don't know how you will manage to get a script going on. . Brandon worksheet even have the name of the script that you need to open + the line of the code you need to go to replace with the new one... Seriously, even if I give you my Simba folder which use all the fixes + a few things I tried to tweaks myself, you wouldn't be able to bot since you would need to edit every single script you want to use to be able to make them work again...

    From there, You would be left with 3 solutions:
    1.Learn to script so you can fix the script you want to use until a update is made.
    2.Beg at someone to share a working script
    3.Wait until Dev Update simba and people update their script, so it can work again with the new update.

    Conclusion, I recommend you wait until it is fixed, since it is beyond your knowledge.

    For now, maybe items goes invis, but it is really easy to bypass it. I will even share how bypassed this little thing, I simply made a little procedure that move the mouse over inventory and look for uptext. I have been superheating for 10+ hours now with invisible items, since I change the way the Script work to use only Uptext! and not dtm nor color

    Yeah, that's why you edit it. It's a function like you would write yourself, it just happens they they have those included in the resource library.

    Honestly, I had not written a proper script until this happened. I had done some basic stuff, but never a full script.

    I had a private script made for me, because I couldn't code at all which got killed with this update.

    When this happened, my coder wasn't around to help... so I went ahead, put my head down, and, starting from scratch, rebuilt another script.

    I had no idea how to make functions, how variables and constants even worked... it was a foreign language. Now, not so bad. This happening was actually a good thing for me.

    Nah mate, I think the one being disrespectful is the person who offers free open source software to the public - 100% in the knowledge people will leech - and then treating it as if it's private.

    [Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/core/text.simba(282:13): Duplicate identifier 'GETUPTEXT' at line 281
    Thanks again for explaining.

    Conclusion, I recommend you wait until it is fixed, since it is beyond your knowledge.
    It's either beyond my knowledge or beyond Brandon's basic vocabulary.

    If you can't even manage to update the files that are located in the simba folder which is pretty much basic things like registering on this forum
    Slight difference - I know where to register on this forum - I don't know where to copy and paste these fixes. Because it is not explained for people who aren't master coders.

    Right.. Because offfering open-source temporary fixes is worse than keeping it closed source. LOL.

    Treating it as if it's private.. oh please explain. You know how to download right? Then you should know that it isn't private if it's up there for the world to see. The instructions are clear. Replace your include with this.. Link given.

    What more do you want? I cant shove choo choo train spoons down your throat in hopes that you eat. I have other things to do.. I don't live on SRL. You can't ask more of me. I give you a temp fix with one or two instructions and you blame me for you not understanding.. man the humanity.

    Here you big baby:

    1. Open C:/Simba/SRL/Includes. Delete SRL.Simba. Delete SRL folder. Replace it with the stuff you downloaded.

    2. Open a script. After SetupSRL. Add Ignorebar. Done. Now go figure out how to fix glitched items..

    3. If you don't have the latest simba and smart and sps plugins well it's your job to find it on the forums. Simba 0.99 is the name of the thread.

    4. Stop whining and bitching like it's someone else's fault. Nothing is wrong with my vocabulary. It's simple instructions. "Replace your includes with this." What more do you seriously want me to say.

    Winning.

    Zala look. As Shay said, offset your stupidity.

    We now have a 10 year old. Now if you offset your age, we have a 01 year old. Then if you offset that in a different way than you offset your age, then the result of the double offset is you not existing.

    TL;DR- Offset your stupidity. Offset your age. Offset again. Result of offsets- nonexistence. Start offsetting.

    On topic- It's incredibly easy to fix bc of Brandon's work.

    I thought we currently had a 10 year old, and the offset would make him normal again?
    Long ago, the '90s Nicktoons lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the century turned. Only Avatar, the best of the 2000's Nicktoons, could save them. But when the channel needed it most, the show finished. Four years passed and Mike and Bryan created the new Avatar: Legend of Korra. And although the show itself is great, it has a long way to go before it can live up to The Last Airbender. But I believe Korra can save Nickelodeon.
