    This is true, but what is the problem with asking more knowledgeable people when they think the problem will be fixed?

    Because there is no ETA at this time, everyone who can fix it is busy with more important things (Work, school, etc). I'm fighting just to get a 30 minute break today, it's insane.

    take your time sir, people should be happy some people put this up as a free service. once it goes down you hear 98% saying omg fix it but only 2% will say thanks when its up again, thats sad. powerbod is working tho and yeah i think 90% of the bots use powerbot, it was the first bot i knew aswell, nothing wrong with it i think, used it on my main back in the days to get 99 wc and 99 fishing :P, so its "good" but i like this client way more. once its up to date i instantly swap back.

    Halp! Halp! My little chinese children are starving because I can't make any botted monies, they just want a biscuit.

    People have day jobs, families, a life, etc. Updates don't come instantly even with paid software, it takes time.

    Probably the worst fix I could think of but meh it's temporary I guess..

    SMART\src\smart\client.java:

    Code:
    Line 120:    int w = 765;
    Line 121:    int h = 565;
    Line 546:    After clientFrame.add(clientApplet); press enter and add: clientFrame.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(785, 615));
    Simba stuff:
    in SRL.Simba change SetTargetArray(SmartImageArray, 765, 503) to: SetTargetArray(SmartImageArray, 765, 565)

    and if on Simba 0.99 change SmartParams.Simba to Result:= SmartSpawnClient('./Plugins/', Params[0], ',' + Params[1], 765, 565, 's', '', '', -1);

    Only thing changed is basically the height. Iunno bout anything else. So if that's detectable Iunno but so far it works as far as I can tell.

    Any other client hacking crap is not on my end. Iunno Java.

    As for the shitty results.. It looks like this.. Note: Iunno any client stuff so I don't know if you can get rid of the bar. I'd expect someone who knows java to at least try something but guess everyone relies on Ben :S

    Is it just me or does it seem with every update they always completely wreck RS? I wonder if the people at Jagex know how badly they fail.

    I was thinking on how to fix this , well besides Smart needing an update to fit the entire applet (and possibly only display the part of the applet that is of interest to us ) would be to fix the - Login function / World Hopping function and editing the pre-defined coordinate boxes to fit the part of the applet required for us: MSCX etc etc.

    Now some functions might be broken (- the ones that do not use the pre-defined coordinates -) so those might need to be updated as well. As for the scripts using hard coded coordinates those will have to be updated accordingly to the specific script.

    If any one wants smart removed from their script so it will work again, feel free to PM me.
    I will only do it for script found on this forum and please link me with the original script thread.

    I believe all of the scripts that use "hard coded" coordinates are relative to the main screen coordinates so I'm thinking they would be fine after the main screen coordinates are updated. I could definitely be wrong as far as that goes though.

    That would imply if the main screen would not display that crappy navbar they put in. If they can't manage that , then that would mean the main window coordinates will have to be modified, screwing up every hard-coded coordinate written for Simba.

    Let's hope tough that they will manage to either not display the navbar so the main screen will display the game only as before, or
    this is new :
    if they do modify the client to fit the entire applet - add some sort of global off-set for every coordinate ever used. - I have no idea how they could do this as I haven't researched much in to Simba source and development

    But I bet we have some bright minds who have thought about better ideas on how to fix this whole situation! - I am still in uni studying code lol - still having my baby steps.

    SMART already has functionality to operate at different sizes, that's trivial to change in SRL. What other problem is there? Someone knowledgeable should get on IRC. Rizon #srl

    Well I think the problem is where the community waits for a standard coordinate set. If everyone adds their own coordinates the way they think it is right - scripts if modified to fit their own simba client would only work on that specific version of simba.

    So i guess someone in charge of Simba needs to set these up for everyone so there won't be any fragmentation.

    There is/wont be any.
    Simba and SRL are both worked on by a group of developers (and CAN be worked on by anyone who and just show their code which can be added by developers) and once/when they update (as always) the updates are normally downloaded automatically.
