    im haveing issues with my comp every time i boot up i have to wait 30min just for the processes to die down enough to where i can do anything with my comp. my comp has also been slowing down a lot, but that is do to the low amount of ram i have only one stick in i forget the exact amount but its like 200 somthing MBs. can any one tell me how to change the file that boots all the processes at the beginning so i can eliminate the ones that i dont need? i think the file is autostart.bat but i dont have a single clue how to do it, and i googled this but all the results just confuesed me any help?

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/270035 Should help, its got most of the Windows operating systems... Or are you using Mac? Remember to backup your Registry!

    start -> run -> msconfig -> Start Up tab -> uncheck un needed programs (suggested = aim, msn, itunes helper, other crap, ect) then apply...

    EDIT:

    Other tidbits that could help you speed up your computers performance level.
    -Defragment
    -Antivirus
    -Spyware protection
    -Disk Cleanup
    -Remove unneeded programs

    I suggest SpyBot, Nod32, Diskeeper Pro, TuneUp. Get them around mopar, mopars has so many cracks. >:]]
