    Default Bank Space

Anyone else have their bank maxed out?
I have so many items, from quests, things ive collected, things i need, and so on that my bank is full.

When I do slayer tasks and get drops, I cant bank because all of it is used up.

I Feel like an RS Hoarder cause I think I need everything.

We really need more bank space. Anyone know if they are going to be adding more bank space? Or is there any talk of it on the RS Forums?

We really should have unlimited bank space!

I store a lot of stuff in my player owned house, and the rest in my bank (1/6th filled).

Talk to the wise old man in Draynor and ask him to clean your bank of worthless stuff.

I used to constantly deal with a maxed bank. Then one day I sat down and went through every item one by one. If the item was something I didn't know or like a quest item or something I would google it and check if it was a) useful and b) if I could get it again.
With the rest of the items I just sold all the crappy items that I haven't used in the last two weeks. You can always quickly pop to the ge to pick something up rather than leaving it sitting around in your bank.
Took me a couple of hours but it was worth it in the end, haven't been close to maxing bank space since.

Like capes and clothes right? Is it quick access when you need to get something? I've never really used my house.

It is fairly quick access, just a simply house tele and choosing which clohes you want out of the wardrobe.

The wise old man only cleans a few useless old quest items, he hasn't been updated in a while. It's not many but it's a start.

Whoa lol, didn't know I'd get negative rep for not giving out negative rep (ever). o.o

OT: Yes, I like to store capes in my PoH so I don't have to worry about dropping them and paying for them again later if I want them back. Not too quick to find & withdraw, but I usually store items in my PoH that I don't use much (random event clothing / holiday items / misc. clue rewards / etc.)

Not really. I store every holiday items at POH, and once in a while I do some bank cleaning. I search for every item one by one at RSWiki and if Im not needing it anymore because Ive done all quests that have it as a requirement I just get rid of it. I also organize it in tabs. One tab for tools: hatchets, picks, etc. One tab for quest items, one tab for clothes, one tab for magic, runecrafting and teleport stuff and one tab for combat: food potions ranged and melee gear etc.
If you do this your bank will have lots of free space and simple to search for an item

if you store clothes and other stuff at POH you can easily retrieve them from diango at draynor village as if they were lost.

First of all, get rid of all quest items unless you're sure you need them again. Even then, most are easily obtainable. Next, get rid of all holiday items, they can be reclaimed at Diango.

Then go through every item and think when the last time you actually used it is. If it's been more than a couple months, consider tossing it. If it's been more than a year, definitely toss it.

I'm nearly maxed and have done every quest. I've never had an issue with bank space.

We do need more bank space indeed, I don't see why they shouldn't give members unlimited bank space.

They can't give us unlimited space because every item stored in a bank requires space on their servers. I think I saw a Jagex mod say 1 item = 1 byte.

Anyway, just get rid of your junk. The things you hold on to for no reason do not necessitate more bank space.

    oh, nice to know!
But still like 600 bank space wouldn't hurt.

Do you mean 1 item or 1 space?

And Yeah I have issues with keeping my bank from maxing too, usually once it's close I clean out at least 20 items or so, so it has some room :s I would like more bank space in the future though

The stupid thing about Quest Items is, you never know if you will need them again when another quest in the same series comes out.

Then to get that item again, you have to go through so much trouble and waste so much time.

I have to disagree. Most quest items are only used once, and most are easily reobtainable. Just check the wiki it you're really worried about it.

I do random little sell outs when my bank gets like 3/4 full. Just sell everything or drop random crap that is untradable or don't need. Never had my bank full, ever. xD

Don't let it bug ya, people - rep for the dumbest of reasons thinking it makes any difference.

After so many quests done your bank fills up. Sure a lot of the stuff is useless, but a lot of the stuff gotten from quests needs to be kept as well and it all adds up. Disagree or not, more bank space would be great.
