    Default bahamas

I'm going to the bahamas in 2 months, the owner of the company I work for just gave me a monthly bonus with a 3 night bahama cruise tickets for my wife and I. So I wanted to see what everyone has done in the Bahamas?

I've never been before and I'm not much of a fan of tropical climent since I live in FL I kinda get that every day but if its free I cant pass it up.

    Wow very nice.
I personally have always wanted to go scuba diving. I've been to mexico just never got a chance to do it. Next time I go somewhere tropical, I will definitely be doing that.

A friend of mine that did that with her boyfriend said it's definitely worth experiencing.

It really is a lot of fun, I'd recommend it. And if you've got some time on your hands, definitely definitely take up wakeboarding. It's very addicting.

I use to own a jet ski in 2010 and I'd go riding every weekend. So costly but a lot of fun. I lost my 200$ oakleys in the water, haha.

But I'd love to do scuba diving never done it, i thought I needed to be certified before going in the water or am I wrong?

I wanna rent mo peds and go romp through the ghettos it's worse then a third world country.

But yeah I'm stoked, I have been to 12 country's and never done anything tropical aside from Hawaii so this will be fun.

Anyone know how hard scuba diving is?

If I'm not mistaken for small-time scuba diving you don't need to have a license or certification, just take a small glass before hand, and that's a requirement. It should be pretty basic, what equipment you'll be using, how to use each piece, where you can and can't explore, what to do in an emergency, basic stuff like that. I don't know this for sure but I'm willing to bet it's just a matter of common sense.

You'll probably be diving with an instructor so there's nothing to worry about. I'm sure they'll tell you the different hand gestures to use underwater for communication.

We had to take a 15-minute course before sky-diving and it was super simple. I can't image a scuba diving course being a big deal.

Normally license is for renting equipment, there are different rules depending where you are for just scuba diving in general.. In USA you can go without a license if you own the gear. I would definitely recommend that and if that fails snorkeling is just as good if you're in shallow waters (which are common there)
