    Default help...

I been trying to get my FPS higher; right now I have 10mb internet, running on a brandnew 8gig tower; why do I have 8-10 fps? My ping is anywhere from 110-80 doesnt matter what ping server I go into its always showing 8fps... I can raise or lower my fps bar and doesnt matter my FPS always the same...

Can someone help me out and tell me how I can raise my internet; I'm running safe mode on RS, I have fast internet, along with a fast computer what in the world is going on?!

this is the highest I can get my FPS...HELP please

    Yikes, those stats look famaliar...
OT: FPS can also depend on your graphics card too.

It can't depend on your graphics card because he said he is running using safe mode.
Smart also use safe mode, which only use the CPU. Safe mode is the slowest of them all. Use Opengl or DirectX if you aren't using smart.
The internet speed and ping aren't related to fps in any way.
While the memory can't be a negative thing, it is the CPU that is very important for runescape. For a java game that runs in a browser... runescape is pretty CPU intensive if you ask me.

Btw nice stats holy sh*t, I got the same except dung.

Hmmm very peculiar case. Start it up, go to task manager, put java on highest priority.
If that doesn't work, update java?

Actually, we cant update java, since smart doesent run on java 7 unless you compile smart yourself. I believe 6U32 is the highest, thats what I've always used.

63? Just post a pic in the mOrning. I'll link you to java in a second
Assuming you are 32bit, this is what you need. FIRST, however, delete all your other java versions via programs and features.JAVA 6U32 download link

Mine is never more then 120,000kb, if something is wrong with your java, smart, or script though, it can get freakishly high.

That's pb using 400k ram . His simba is using 41k as far as I can see. He doesn't seem to have smart running.

Here's my Windows setup.. J7 for testing and developing stuffs and J6 for smart:

Sorry Brandon, didnt read the text above, and you need to show me how to use java 7 for something, and 6 for another! Anyways, it doesn't hurt to try, it should definitely improve it. Just try it out.

You gave the direct dl link which bypass the agree to terms page.
