And if you're not easily freaked out by stuff like killing and CP, it might be time to get off the internet.

Well, I think it's disgusting, yes. But I don't majorly get freaked out by it. I just avert my eyes and click the back button.

I don't know, the internet has made me insensitive to many things. The deep web is nothing to be afraid of if you know what you are doing and are taking the necessary precautions. Getting in is relatively easy, only 1 download or two, but becoming untraceable is a little more time consuming. Many sites down there offer CP, weapons, and many other illegal things. They use a currency called BitCoin which is catching up to the surface people too as many people starting to now use BitCoin instead of PayPal. Many of the sites are hidden and are nearly impossible to find. Poke your head in sometime, if you don't like it, you can always just uninstall.

    Its different down there

For those curious about this, I don't recommend it if you're easily freaked out by stuff like killing and CP
:/ CP isn't nice at all

It's not a bad place at all. It's all hype. You'll be perfectly fine if you don't click every link you see.

Know what you're about to click before you click it, and you'll be fine.
I went on the Hidden Wiki without Tor once and I'm fine. :3
(That was fun, wasn't it guys?)

I've looked into it before; there are some crazy stuff you can find in the deep web.

Maybe one should visit /b and if there is still need for more, go to onion network.
Btw, deep web is also everything that is not static, like every database. The website of any library is deep web, for example. Google won't try to index such databases (most are protected with captchas anyways)

Anything not in Bing Or Google, are in the deep web, so really, the deep web isn't that bad.

If it requires a password/username to use the website, it's technically in the deep web, iirc

Meh, the deepweb has some pretty neat stuff but the wiki doesnt have any links to it at all, nor does the google equivalent of a deepweb search browser.

and NKN, how did you manage to get to the hidden wiki without a tor browser?

There are probably some mirrors you can access via the standard protocol.

Sounds like you are talking about the onion network. Onion network ≠ Deep Web.

guys guys chill!!! I won't go as far as to say that deepweb is no different from clearweb, but basically a huge part of the deepweb is by nature inaccessible to cacheing/google/whatever else. Its just like clearweb with CP drugs. And kinda hard to navigate. so chill :P

How can they take control of your webcam? Unless you stupidly allow some plugin or malware to be downloaded.

Same here. Pornography and violence are commonplace nowadays, what worse can be hiding off there?

Anyone could access your webcam if they were fairly skilled in computers and knew your ports and maybe something else too :P basically you wouldn't have to be on some dodgy website
