Our main focus here is about learning and scripting, so even if you make a wonderful RS-related guide/some other stuff it's not going to impress many ppl (esp. NOT a goldfarming guide..). If you have difficulties learning to script you can try watching yojoho's video tutorials (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMMejhyjGwI). As long as you are keen and patient, you can easily master (at least the basics) even with no previous programming background.

Non-scripting ways to contribute would be to test scripts and post proggies with detailed comments on the script.

Finish that guide off and post it, and keep at learning to script, it's really not as difficult as it first would seem.
That way even if you aren't writing scripts for the community you can help others who are learning.

This. Nobody like it when someone post on the thread of your script "Doesn't work, how do I make it work? I tried to to fix it by- ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD"

Exactly, plus walls of text are not fun to read.

So if you spread it out some, it makes it much more pleasant for someone to read and possibly give you and answer.

Just make sure that all the threads you make and all the posts you post... are relevant to the topics, are constructive and actually help others.

You can help others by guiding them and answering their questions. An opinion is always an opinion.
