Default What antivirus do you reccomend

Hi there, title says it all, running windows 7 if that even matters, i've got kids, and my fiance isnt very computer savvy either so i just need something to protect from them downloading silly things. I will be getting these from pirate bay unless you know a better site for it. Thanks!
Bored of playing rs, and bored of botting it, why am i here?

Microsoft Security Essentials and MalwareBytes are the two best/highly recommended hands down.

Vouch for Microsoft Security Essentials. It's completely free and has yet to throw any false positive for me so far.

I won't recommend downloading a pirated antivirus, for all you know you may end up downloading a virus instead!

What about AVG? I heard that one is pretty and would appreciate any opinions on that.
I've used Norton on and off for the last 5 or 6 years, they seem to have improved it since I started using it again a couple of years ago. When I used it for the very first time it wasn't too good.
What do you guys think about Norton?

    AVG detects simba as virus.
i.e. it's a complete liar, dont use it.

Isn't Norton paid? Unless you are downloading pirated version or using a trial/free version which i wouldn't recommend.

I don't recommend downloading any pirated antivirus software.
If you are going to put a virus into a program wouldn't someone downloading antivirus software just scream "Easy access I have no form of protection already"?

I have the paid for version of Norton internet security. I got it quite cheap (around £20), and that was for 1 years subscription on 3 computers.
Even though AVG reports that simba is a virus, I thought there would be a way to set it to allow it.

I would strongly recommend downloading a pirated PRO version of Malwarebytes. It's the best one out there, hands down.

I always use a combination of Microsoft security essentials, Malwarebytes Anti-malware, CCleaner, and common sense to secure and maintain my machines.

Norton is good but it tends to gunk up the pc with a lot of unnecessary lag and then blocks random stuff

I suggest you Quick Heal is very good antivirus. First month you can use trial version than after you can buy.
It is a best internet security software, now track your stolen laptop with laptop tracking software, best virus protection anti spam software, top antivirus software.
I am using this antivirus since last 2 months and i don't face any type of virus.

I use Kaspersky with a legal license but I recomment Avira AntiVir. That program picks up faster than U.Bolt runs 100 meters!
