    Default Little math help please

I have gotten the correct answer, but I'm not sure how to get it. Its late here and I'm not seeing where I am going wrong.

Question: An object is projected at a speed of 65 m/s. How many days does it take for the object to travel 9 x10^4 km?

    I did 9 X 10^4 = 90,000km

    1 km = 1000m

    1000m /65 m/s = 15.384 or 15.38 second for the object to travel a 1000 m or 1 km

    90,000 km/ 15.384 seconds = 5847.95 seconds

Not sure where to go from here or if I am even right. I would guess divide by 60 to get mins the divide by 60 again for hours then convert that to days.

The answer I got from an online convert was Time :384 Hours :36 Mins :55 seconds.

Please help and try and explain?

    90,000 km = 90,000,000 m
90,000,000m / 65m/s = 1384615.38462 Seconds (the meter units cross off, leaving only seconds [this confirms we are getting a good answer when the units are correct ])

    1384615.38462/60 = 23076.9230769 minutes
    23076.9230769/60 = 384.615384615 hours
    384.615384615/24 = 16.0256410256 days

    Does that make sense?

    "90,000 km/ 15.384 seconds =
    5847.95 seconds"
1 Km takes 15.384 seconds, so if you want to know how long 90.000 km takes, you will have to multiply those.
    90.000 * 15.384 = Seconds
    Seconds / 3600 = Hours
    Hours / 24 = Days

    That's where you've gone wrong
