Charm sprite hunting is usually for summoning tanks/pures/skiller, anyone.
They are somewhat slow, but give charm slices. For every 5 charms slices, you get 1 full charm. (Crimson, Blue, Green, or gold)
They are located to the west of the tree gnome village entrance.
    Location is here

    The Rewards
    - There is only a reward for the 1,000th capture; after you've caught 1,000 charm sprites you can upgrade your yaktwee stick to an enhanced yaktwee stick. This grants you a 5% xp boost in ALL hunter activities in which you can wield the stick, and the more rare charm sprites will spawn more often.
    - Mystical Charm Slice: Add these slices onto another of the colored slices to maake complete charms. Or you can simply use all of these slices to make the charms of your choice
    - Blue Charm Slice: Add 5 of these slices to make 1 whole Blue charm
    - Crimson Charm Slice: Add 5 of these slices to make 1 whole Crimson charm
    - Green Charm Slice: Add 5 of these slices to make 1 whole Green charm
    - Gold Charm Slice: Add 5 of these slices to make 1 whole Gold charm

    Requirements:
    72 Hunter

    The sprites

Gleaelg - 130 hunter experience for catching
Tranart - 200 hunter experience for catching
Slithtils - 400 hunter experience for catching

How to hunt them & Charm Slices
You have to purchase a yaktwee stick and sprite lure from Yaktwee Swinmari Cianta, who is located in the same area to hunt them.
Be on the look out for shaking bushes. When you see one, throw the spirit lure next to the bush, and then zap it with your stick.
This will make all sprites in that bush jump out. Now you have to go after them and hunt them down.
See these two images for some clearer understanding.
Throw the lure near a moving bush, and then zap it.

Catching a sprite and getting a charm slice.

Once caught, you will randomly receive either a crimson, blue, green, or gold charm slice. You need 5 charm slices to make 1 charm whole. This is quite quick now because of the recent update which made charm sprites a bit faster.

This is one of the reasons I suggested it.
I knew of it but not much else, so thanks for the guide.

It seems like it would be a bit drawn out to collect 10 slices just to get one charm! I can see why others may consider this dead content. It just does not seem like it would be worth the time.

Yeah, there used to be a nexus bot for this, but the dev gave up after a month because only a few people bought it.

I wasn't aware that you needed to hunt down ten just to get one charm. That makes the whole minigame bad IMO.

It's only good for those going for 99 summ with lvl 1 in all other combat stats. Though bonfire could be faster now. Otherwise there are much faster bottable methods to get charms.

Updated OP to add the new update to Charm Sprite

Be aware that hunting 1k charm sprites is a requirement to wear the completionist cape.

I think we need a bot for this. Decent xp/hr now and comp requirement. Nice guide!

Haha, there was a script for this back on the nexus site.
I remember the dev or a user used a throwaway to suicide this method, and once you saw the amount of time it took, you'd prolly have second thoughts if you really would want to bot this back then :P
