So, I know I' not new here, but I never properly introduced myself on this wonderful website:
So that was my first post here. On a wilderness big bone collector request.
Anyway, now to properly introduce myself.
My name is Ian, and I'm from Nova Scotia (it's in Canada). I became interested in bots from watching rogiee's bot killing videos (the karamja fishing bot killer). I realized that bots were really interesting, like why some got killed and some ignored the scorpion and continued, and why some appeared to break when attacked. After some googling I found powerbot. Honestly, the site was unfriendly because of the amount of banned users and hate and language and flaming, and general distrust. So later I came across a video on youtube showing a program called AutoHotKey. It was a legitimate mouse macro, but I never ended up using it because I realized it had only manual randomization (lots of copy and paste). Around a month later I found this site through a youtube video, (and was careful not to download anything in the description) and I googled simba color bot. I spent a few weeks here before making an account, browsing through threads. Then I wanted to be just like Putonajohnny, and I made an account. I had even coincidentally chosen that time when the navbar update messed everything up to join. I saw Foooty (joined around the same time as me) had released a few scripts to work after the update, and tried one out. It was really cool trying it out. Later, after the update mess had been cleared (I think I remember brandon being a big contributor and helping noobs), I tried out smart for the first time (couldn't get it to work earlier). I used Fight's barbarian fly fisher and remember thinking how awesome it was how that little red dot did everything while I did other stuff (I think I stared at it for 15 minutes at least, it was exciting
). And around then I actually started being active, and watched a few of YoHo's videos. And now time has passed and I love it here, and thanks to all the members who responded to my nooby questions.
Well, sorry for the wall of text, that was longer than I thought it would be, feel free to skim through.
