My bad lol. So yea, do tell what settings you currently use. Also, check the page I linked, the others are not bad either.

Thanks YohoJo! Looking into that now!

    EDIT: Elby costs money yoho...

    I have:
    DVDfab
    Dvd Rip
    Full Dvd Ripper Free
    Dvd Shrink
    DVDDecrypter
    Handbrake

    all newest versions.
never used handbrake on windows to be honest.. OS X & Linux ones work great, I always assumed it'd be about as good though

good software to convert too, especially if the ripper is restricted like handbrake to only two? codecs

    Torrent all the way.

Read through and followed all steps 3 times. Still doesn't get Simba scripting or any form of scripting for that matter. *retard*

Ok, the next person who says Torrent is going to get an infraction...

He didn't ask alternatives and torrenting has already been suggested.

There is no point in suggesting the same thing 20 times over.

True enough. ___ You have yet to reveal your settings. Maybe we can help enough to get the optimal ones.

i would suggest trying audials moviebox, but it's not a freeware. it depends how many dvds you want to rip, if you're doing this regularly, i guess you could think about investing into a good soft..otherwise probably not. but yeah, this would be my recommendation, because you get some extra features besides the dvd ripping part, you get to record videos and convert them to multiple file formats (avi, wmv, 3gp, mp4, even audio: mp3) and remove protection from drm protected files for example. anyway, you can take a look here and see what is does and how it functions exactly.

DVD shrink is really good. Free and does the job well.
