    Default Anti-Leech

No hate for this thread but I would like to ask if it were legal for someone ( who does not script ) to ask someone else ( who can script ) to fix the anti-leech in a script. I don't know the answer hence I decided to ask the forums. I know that it might be offensive towards some scriptwriters to have their scripts pillaged by leechers but please, no hate.

Read through and followed all steps 3 times. Still doesn't get Simba scripting or any form of scripting for that matter. *retard*

Anti-leech purpose is for leechers to start learning. You can, but I don't think anyone would fix it for you if they knew it was anti leech.

And usually, anti-leech is very easy to fix.

You shouldn't ask others, but you might get a hint if you ask the writer of the script
I know personally if I released a script with antileech in it, i'd rather people asked me than others because then I can give the same amount of help to everyone. For me, antileech should be put in only when it would help people learn a bit, not as a way to block users

    I hope that helps,

Certainly you should ask the script writer, but I think your best bet is to try and run the script, see what pops up in the debug box and then try and work it out from there using other scripts and tutorials to check.

After reading some of the tuts I was able to easily figure out quite a few of the anti-leeches. Tuts are the way to go in learning.

If you need help, you could contact the writer. If he is offline, inactive or just unavailable, then try to ask others.

This is of course, if you cannot do it yourself.

Please post errors to do with a specific script on the scripts thread or alternatively make your own thread regarding this issue.

Also with regards to anti-leech I firmly believe you should just give learning a try. It's really easy to pick up the basics and it can't hurt to try.

Legal? There's no law saying you can't. But having someone else fix the anti-leech defeats its purpose.

It's not "illegal" but it is bad practice as Anti-leechs are designed to encourage you to want to learn :P
