Running a script with screen turned off????

Is it possible to run a script and have it do anything if you have your computer screen turned off? The way i figure it is it shouldn't have to be turned on for scar to get colors etc because the comp still sends that data to the screen even when its turned off.....any ideas?

What you should do, is start running a scar script, then click the off button on your monitor and see what happens

When a script it running, it uses the mouse.
You CAN turn of the monitor though, i suggest you do.
I turn my monitor off every time i step away, even if its just to take a piss.
They use a good amount of electricity.

The only reason you have a screen is so you can see what your computer is doing, and how to control/corect it... So in reality you don't even need a screen...First, Check Properties and make sure powersaver and screen saver are off... Then make sure its a good script made for over night use...Turn off silent mouse and that about it...
    Hope that helps!

I always turn my screen off when I'm not sitting at the computer. And my computer's by my bedroom so having the flashing colors would keep me up if I left SCAR running with the screen on.
