I usually mine at Rimmington, at the 4 rock spot. For the best xp/h, go to a world with no one else there.

I think it's because of the multi player, I'll make a pasr 6 hour version and a multiplayer version.

Thanks! I have a version that I think will run past 6 hours, but I just started it, so testing is a little slow. I'll put it in the OP and label it as a beta version.

For some reason, it always types the "1" into the chat bar, rather than the action bar. I make sure that it says (Press enter to chat), before starting the script, but it still reverts to typing 1 into the bar. I think it's a TypeSend problem.

Are you sure the action bar isn't minimized? Also occasionally when starting it up I need to clear the actions, then drag a new iron onto spot one, or else it does not drop them. I don't know why though, seems like a rs problem.

Nice one . Also just today, it was typing ones into the chatbox instead of dropping them. It is weird though because it says "press enter to chat" and then it starts typing, but my script never has a press enter part in it ...
I use

TypeSendEx('1', False);

And false should set it to not press enter. Any ideas guys?

i think you need to press enter after you type the 1 not sure though. and i have the problem aswell, i fix it by dragging the first ore into the action bar when the script starst. then it works right. i think its a problem with the action bar the script. maybe make the script drag the first ore mined into the action bar then use the 1 after that to drop the rest.

Doing it legit, you just press "1" and it drops it. When the script does it, it types "1" into the chat box. It doesn't press enter after though, the ones just stack up:

But it does say press enter to chat, but then I start the script and it types 1, almost like it pressed enter right before pressing 1.

Yeah the 1s are pretty annoying, I thought maybe because I am muted? Anyways I used the 6hr one over night the new client didn't spawn for me I'm just mining the old way atm don't want to xp waste would rather old way it than not mine at all

Edit - The timings may be the problem, the time sent to press the enter key might need to be adjusted might fix the problem

Thanks for the idea with the timing, I'll fiddle with it a bit this afternoon. And yeah, I've just been removing the SendKeys line, that makes it drop normally

The way he has created the script is that you will never ever get a full inventory because the 1 is pressed over and over again in the spaces of a few seconds, this makes it more easier/faster than manually bringing the script up to click the 1 28 times at the end of full inv, it's just the timing he will need to tweek then it should work fine

I'll test these to see which works the best:

Adjustingkeyboard hot key dropping
Clicking on the hot key slot after each ore
Waiting until the inventory is full then clicking on the hotkey slot.
