Thumbs down A leeching bot website

I think this is the right spot to post this...

Anyhow, I came across a website today, which I almost assume belongs to a member here. I won't post the link, pm me if you really want it.

However it holds a few simba scripts in it's 'free' script section, however the 'free scripts' are behind one of those survey links, and it says (paraphrased) "Don't leach, fill out this survey to get these scripts free."

However it appears that the scripts are slightly modified scripts from the public rs forum as far as I can see there is no credit given to whoever made the script.

Even still its a pretty bad website as the survey thing that is meant to stop you getting to the scripts is easily circumvented.

The worst part about it imo is on the front page: "Making Real Cash from Selling Runescape Gold" also they put a survey link infront of their simba download link... Seriously it's dumb when a quick google (they do mention villavu too) easily finds the stuff.
One redeeming thing is that the scripts are in plain text (just see the page source to avoid the survey)
It's really just a big leech.

EDIT - removed url and messed with link, no point in promoting website up in google page rank.
Site, as per Shay's request: allrunescapebots-com (says it's been around since 2008, but its hard to believe)
I assume it's a member here, because if the scripts are modified so that they do work, as it suggests then the person probably is at Villavu.

Meh if people don't want to "search" and download whatever they see; I can't blame the owner.

Well, I suppose its just good anti-stupid on the website if you can't inspect a source you should be made to do those surveys!

Only thing I dislike, is not crediting the script makers properly (other than villavu) and encouraging gold farmers, which imo are the scourge of rs, along with gamblers.

I was hesitant to post this at first incase I was wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm not so:

based of the registration of the website: Username is Exilus

Past history and sign up date suggests this also:

It's not completely uncommon. There are many users here who are free to sell their scripts on their own websites.. However this does look like a bit of a scam

Interesting site, funny how you can still get scripts without doing surveys.

That's true, but I was searching for a fix for a script in google when I came across it, checking I could see the owner of the site didn't make all the scripts.

For those who want to get the script without the survey, its quite simple:
Use Firefox/Chrome (I did it on chrome but its basically the same)

    There are 2 ways.
    1. Open the source of the website, find where the start of the script is (crtl +f ) is helpful here.
Copy this down to the bottom of the script, including the html <p> </br> etc, save this as a .html file, open it locally and copy the plain text.

    OR perhaps easier.

    2. Use the inspector tool (crtl + shift + I in chrome) delete the <div>.... areas that have the phrase "samdav" (see the picture) then you're free to copy straight from the site like you would with any other text.

Having a look at the source there is a website that looks like a personal website of exilusbase-com, Googling the site I found a login page. Furthermore the software that runs the site is called: Content Lock Pro v2.0, googling that shows it to be pretty much made for all those dodgy sites. Top link refers to blackhatworld with what looks like an official post from the devs. This doesn't really mean anything, but still.

Funny how much of the internet is dodgy.

Could we possibly get the IP of the website host and get a mod+ to check for matches of it here?
