Seems like I should have no problem setting up my own computer, looks like a lot of fun. How tricky is installing a liquid cooling system?

it's more expensive than tricky, but doing it nicely there is a lot of sitting there and looking at it / planning
build your machine, get it going... before you go and liquid cool it, you can always PM me after it's built for good parts, you gotta be safe for the corrosion etc etc
I wouldn't do it if you're looking for better performance, the H100 performs just as good as custom loop cooling almost (custom loop maybe slightly better) only reason I still do it is because I have hundreds of dollars in cooling parts and some distilled water only costs $1 and tubing is only like $15 lol..
air cooling today is also a million times better than it was back in the day, you can get some extremely high overclocks on just the hyper 212 evo, nearly the same as the best liquid cooling.. maybe slightly not as high, it's more dependent on the silicon lotto (the cpu's are all different, even the same cpu is different vs another of the same cpu.. the same as anything of the same one might die in a week, one might die in 10 years.. they overclock all totally differently) and that is much more mattering than the cooler today, 10 years ago it was much different obviously.
