    Default Simba on Linux Ubuntu

before you tell me to use WINE, first i'd like to say that Simba only works on WINE if you're using SMART. anyways, I downloaded Simba.i386-linux from l0.lt but i have no idea how to install it. i'm using Ubuntu 12.04 by the way.

Simba is, to the best of my knowledge, only a windows distribution at the moment. I'm afraid that you will need to get Wine, whether you want to run SMART or not. That being said, this won't stop you from using a script on a browser which is using linux java and firefox, assuming that's what you want to do.

You do not have to install it. Make sure you mark it as executable. You can run some scripts (use Lape as interpreter), but extensions will not work.

you will need lape and wine for non-smart games. it's a pain in the a** and it took me forever to set up, and I doubt it still works (I used a ubuntu VM so I could bot more).
Non-RS scripter, if you need a hand with scripting let me know. I have a decent amount of experience scripting for non-RS games.

How to add text messaging to any script: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread....98#post1151998
