    Default SPS Walking

    Hey,

    I'm trying out SPS Walking In Al Kharid to the furnace, can't get SPS Walking working

    Made a custom map by following J J's tutorial, didn't want to gravedig it.

    Whenever I'm trying to walk towards the furnace, it mostly clicks on another area I want to be in.

    Starting in Bank: (Position is x: 263 y: 227)

    Simba Code:
    procedure SPSCheck;
    var
      MyPos:TPoint;

    begin
      SPS_Setup(RUNESCAPE_Other, ['Al_Kharid']);
      MyPos:=SPS_GetMyPos;
      Writeln('My position is  x: '+inttostr(MyPos.x)+' y: '+inttostr(MyPos.y));
      SPS_BlindWalk(Point(RandomRange(247,275), RandomRange(267,283)));
    end;

    Blue box is were I want to be

    Red box is where it clicks all the time ( not even on my map, same surface almost as in blue box )

    And the image in runescape_others if needed:

    Really wanna get the hang of SPS Walking.

    Try adding more area

    e.g. go to the edges of your map and add more circle grabs

    also off-map should be black not white

    Also try to remove moving NPC dots

    no, just there's spots your game mm will have areas your map is white and SPS Algorithm will likely mess up where it thinks you are

    e.g. aim for

    Try and take more screen shots.
    Bigger map = more accurate.

    Ok, this is gonna take awhile to make, off to work.

    EDIT: If it's a black background, SPS won't read it?
    My original map has no background though.

    Yes you should try using a larger map. Background should be black as SPS will ignore those pixels then. Must also be 500x500 pixels and .png
    It doesn't get your position properly in the bank: x: 263 y: 227
    So when it tries to walk to let's say 250, 275 it will walk a bit west and south of your current position. Which is indeed what is happening.

    So you will need to use a more accurate map to get SPS return a more accurate position

    Noob question: does it really have to be pixel perfect?

    nope just as close as you can, the better the map the more reliable your script will be

    I would ensure that symbols dont cover key areas or ones you will be in alot, such as ontop of a point you want to walk onto, all common sense applies really, just try to think like a computer trying to work out your position comparing to a map

    Highly recommended you remove all Yellow/White/Red Dots that Move (bankers should be left in etc)

    SPS isn't the greatest in desert areas, for alkarid id suggest dtms since there are alot of static objects (npc dots, rocks, cactus).

    re-opening this for another issue.

    Made a map of a part of Falador (trying to get to the Wine Of Zamorak)

    Well problem is it isn't really working, mostly missclicks or do nothing, coörds of GetmyPos all messed up.
    Thought the map was decent.

    Since I start at the bank, is it better that I get more area on the left?
    Since it's member part can't really get that

    hmm is it less than or equal to 500 x 500? is the map to scale?

    The map is on scale: 300 x 300 ( my Al_kharid was the same and that works very well)
    Website is showing it smaller, bit strange.

    Ok, i'll try now.

    EDIT: Lol, it works from the first instance, wasted hours on making that map.
    Is it the map from runescape surface? Need the second part up to the Zamorak Chaple as well.
