    Default Failsafe for lodestone activation

    Hey,

    I need to activate a lodestone but sometimes it goes wrong, since this is a vital part of the script I need some kind of verification if the activation was successful for a failsafe.

    Trouble is I can't figure out how to check that. Before the lodestone is activated there is an uptext saying "activate lodestone", but there is no uptext at all after activation, so the method I used at several other points doesn't work here.

    Any ideas? The only thing I came up with would be to manually open he lodestone menu and then color check if the symbol for the lodestone in question looks as it should.

    Why a script that activates lodestones?
    Making an army of bots? Or releasing it as a tool to help people? Just curious.

    My idea would be to
    Either (less reliable) Make a foolproof main screen lodestone finder and the black of uptext means it's activated.
    Or! After attempting to activate, have the script go to spell tab, click teleport tab, click home teleport, and then check the little map that comes up to see if the lodestone is locked or not. A simple getcolor would probably suffice. Good luck!

    Lol just saw you already had (or edited in) the same idea as me! You're on the right track, sounds good.

    Could you expand on that? Don't get it, the lodestone symbol is always visible on the minimap no matter if the stone is activated or not.

    Use it for what you need, the whole thing will be released shortly along with the lodestone routine
    Also great to read from you in person, your videos were most helpful!

    Click lodestone, wait for it to do the animation, **Click the ability book and the Home Teleport and make a snippet to see if the lodestone is unlocked** <-- might be in the SRL include. If not unlocked, search for the lodestone again and click (then check), if its unlocked, close interface and keep on going
