    Default Simba CPU Usage

Hey guys, just a quick question on Simba CPU Usage.

It absolutely destroys my 6core 1100T AMD CPU with anywhere from 10-20 CPU Usage each, depending on spikes and what not, while PowerBan uses about 5-10 including spikes.

Does anyone know of a way to lower the CPu usage, besides sliding down the SLider on the side of the bot, that really doesn't help me much.

I'd like to run > 5 Simbas per computer. Lol. Thank you all for your time.

Thanks for the quick response, yeah this is Smurg's sudoku script, no paint involved. Just a progress report printed in the Bottom of Simba each successful solve of the puzzle.

o, I see. It's most likely because of the high amount of calculations it does to solve the puzzle. When comparing to powerbot are you using a sukodu solver or any old script? :P

Calculations shouldn't take up that much memory though :/

Check the script for memory leaks. Does it say after stopping that some things (DTM/bitmap etc.) are not freed? Also, you can try opening the command window (the black little square button on simba's toolbar) and see if its anything interesting there.

When comparing to Powerbot, I am using Powerbots GOP script, which requires calculations, as well as FDK + Runecrafter.

As for the memory leaks, when I stop the script it just plain out stops, no error messages, etc, but if the script gets stopped any way because of non-loading, etc, it does give me that error which indicates a memory leak. I will continue to monitor it, as it has always taken up this much CPU.
