    Is there still any form of the "activity bar" that we use to have?

    No, the plugin is outdated. If it gets updated it will be reimplemented hopefully.

    No, Windows 8 != Metro. Windows 8 = Microsofts messed up marketing, design, and implementation of "Metro". True Metro looks nothing like Windows 8, or anything that Microsoft calls Metro.

    Windows 8 = F'd up BS from Microsoft.
