Default ** Failed To Grab Smart Parameters ** ** on vps

so i have a vps and most of the time when i play the client it says:
SRL Compiled in 0 msec
** Failed To Grab Smart Parameters **
** Please check your internet connection/firewall **
Successfully executed.

and i have to keep pressing play like 10+ times before it actually works. this is really annoying and i would like some help if possible

Do you have java installed? The correct one. If you're using wine on ubuntu, get windows java.

@The Killer (hopefully I mentionned you correctly), pm me your skype and I'll help you through teamviewer. Would probably be faster than asking you all the necessary details to know what went wrong.

@Wardancer - To mention someone, you need to put their name in a Name_Goes_Here tag.

Thank you very much, @Justin. I noticed my complete and utter failure after posting, but then I was too lazy to search for how to correctly do it and figured some people would like to laugh at me.

I think for normal members + jr members you need to use the ID but not sure.

As for the OS, it looks like he\she is using Windows.

@Justin: Hm, I don't see what's happening then if Simba is fully installed and updated, alongside all required programs, such as Java.

^ Nope, don't need ID.
