Should I buy an android TV box?

I'm thinking on buying an android tv box, to watch my favourite series through the internet and also surf the internet on TV.

I won't like to spend more than 70$ since I will just use it fot what I said above, and probably play some games like angrybirds.

So does anyone knows any good tv box for this price or should I buy raspberry pi for this or any other alternative?

The mk802 is pretty popular.

You can't run Linux on it though on this moment, but it's perfect for what you want to use it for.
