    Default Lagging massivly.

    Dear SRL community,

I have been running this bot for several months, never had any problem with it.
Now I quit Rs around 2 months ago, started playing agian 2 weeks ago. I'm trying to get my bot working agian.
Everything is working properly as it should, except I'm lagging massivly. The whole time I get connection lost, or screen freezes causing log outs, etc.

Anyone know what is causing this?
If u need more information about my settings or anything please tell me and I'll happyily post it.

Also: I'm not lagging at all while running Runescape normally, just while running SMART.

    Thank you,

    Khaini.

Are you experiencing FPS lag? If yes: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68177

In regard to the connection lost issue: Maybe an issue with your connection? Maybe your firewall? Not sure.

Thank you for your reply, Chris.

I've tried what YoHoJo wrote, but sadly it didn't work.
About the connection lost issue: My connection is fine, I can run Runescape without SMART without any lag and I'm having a fps 20-30 on normal Runescape.
While running SMART I get 4-5 FPS and I crash the whole time. I'll try running SMART with antivirus + firewall turned off.

    Thank you,

    Khaini.

Are you running SMART v8.0? If not, then I would recommend upgrading to that. Some older versions of SMART are affected by the FPS bar on the side. Try moving it all the way up to see if that helps.

    I'm using SMART v7.2.
How can I update this to v8.0?

First of all: Sorry for the double post.

I've tried it without firewall/antivirus, still lagging massivly.

Upgrade to SMART8, following the link Austin provided: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93563

At the top of your scripts, where you see

    Simba Code:
    {$DEFINE SMART}

You need to add an 8 to it, like so.

    Simba Code:
    {$DEFINE SMART8}

I am having the same problem with Kyle's Runespan script. Massive Lag, bot freeze. Kyle thinks it is my processor (i5 3.4) being too fast. In the debug it is going way fast, goes through the script a couple hundred times a minute.

Hopefully after upgrading to 8 we will see!

Thanks for all your reply's guys.

I did the exact thing explained and did that with the 8, but I'm getting an error:

    Compiled successfully in 842 ms.
    SRL Compiled in 16 msec
** Smart Cannot Spawn Clients **
    Successfully executed.

U know how I can fix that?

Try installing Java 6u32. Java 6 works better with SMART then Java 7.

Thanks for your reply's, both of you.
    I'll try both, thank you.

    Edit:
I uninstalled my Java 7 and installed Java 6.
Now when I try to run a script it says: Can't find Java.exe.
