Default Which comp has better specs?

I need to buy a new laptop and both of these are the same price. I dont know tons about computers so I thought I would ask the community which one is better.

    Comp 1

    • NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 650M Graphics with 2GB GDDR 5 video memory
    • 12GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
    • 750GB 7200 rpm Hybrid Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
    • NO mSSD Hard Drive Acceleration Cache
    • No Additional Office Software
    • $30 OFF Norton Internet Security(TM) 2012 - 15 Months Subscription (activation required)
    • 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
    • 15.6-inch diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit Display (1366x768)
    • SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
    • HP TrueVision HD Webcam
    • 802.11b/g/n WLAN
    • Standard Keyboard with numeric keypad
    Accessories

    Comp 2
    15.6" 1366x768 HD LED-Backlit Wide Screen Display

    · Dual-Core Intel® Core™ i5-3210M 2.50GHz 3MB Cache

    · Mobile Intel® HM76 Express Chipset

    · 500GB SATA 7200RPM - 2.5" - WD Scorpio Black WD5000BPKT

    · Super-Multi DVD-RW / CDR Combo Drive

    · Intel® HD Graphics (Integrated Graphics)

    · Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230 (802.11BGN 2x2) with Bluetooth 4.0 and Wireless Display (WiDi)

    · Keyboard for Jetbook 9743 Series

    · Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 Professional (64-bit) with Recovery Partition

    · Microsoft Office 2010 - Home and Business Edition with DVD Media (DOEM)

    @ Klae17
I am spending right around a grand.

I guess i'm also kinda wondering if comp 1 is a good computer. I think the actual price is 1100. Is it worth that? Am I getting a good computer?

BTW thanks everyone for your help!!

Go with the first one, as said above, get MS free in certain universities/colleges or you can also find great websites that offer cheap softwares for students..

specs for the 2nd 1 is incomplete. If anything, you should buy laptops from msi/sager/asus
