I got my driving license 4 January :P I failed the theory first time, 6 out of 40 answered wrong. Limit is 5. Got it next time just like the rest of the exams. Good luck.

I got 4 questions wrong. One of them was not my fault. I should have passed. I was also really rushed because there is a time limit of 15 minutes for 25 questions. I normally take my time on tests.

Learners test? i presume. Here it's mostly common knowledge answers with a few tricky ones.

I too failed my first time. I didn't know you can skip questions. No one told me.
Then when I tried my 2nd time, I skipped the ones I didn't know and almost got perfect.
You can skip like 6 times or something.

    Yeah, okay.

In New York you are allowed to take the test time after time on the same day until you pass. I don't see how it's possible to fail the test, I think it's obvious not to stop on train-tracks or GO at a STOP sign.

O wow. You should move one state up. In Pennsylvania you don't have to take a written test to get your driver's license, it's all driving. I'm gonna go for my license in a month or two, only thing I'm mainly worried about is the parallel parking part =/.

Really depends on your car, our car is bigger than the one I got lessons in (Nissian Qashqai) but it can turn better. So when I was parking for the first time I steered in way too early first few times xD

Dutch theory exam: (translated by Google.. pretty understandable?)
The time has come: you theory exam.
How are things at the test center?

Make sure you have about fifteen minutes ahead of time are present at the examination center. And take a valid proof of identity.

    The CBR sign up reception.
As an employee verifies your identity and you get the number of the table where your exam is going to do.
Some exam centers you get a key to a locker. There you for the exam your stuff in storage. Mobile equipment is not permitted during the exam.
Usually you have to wait and call the CBR employee you inside.

How does the theory exam work?

Your theory test takes about 45 minutes. The exam is as follows in his work:

You will first explain a CBR employee.
Then begin your exam. You get multiple choice, yes / no questions and fill-in questions.
You see each question a particular traffic situation on a large TV monitor. You must imagine that you are the driver of the car CBR.
The theory test consists of two parts.
    1. Hazard. You get 25 questions about hazard. You have 8 seconds to answer a question. This may seem short, but later on the road, you often decide quickly! You must Hazard 13 questions or more fortunate.
    2. Traffic regulations and traffic insight. You get 30 questions and 10 questions about Traffic Traffic Insight. You must Traffic and Transport Insight 35 questions or more fortunate.

Wow, is that all for your permit? Or your license?

For my permit, all I had to do was sit down at a computer inside the licensing place, and take a quick 18 question test. We had to get at least 15 questions right. I was on my 10th question when I got my 2nd wrong answer, so I was kind of sweating through the rest of the test lol, but finished it with two wrong. Second guessing yourself is your biggest enemy in these tests =/.

That is to get your driving license theory so you know the rules and situations well enough (mainly rules). Then once you got that you can take a driving exam (around 45 mins). Main aspects are driving safe (looking around at all times, expecting stuff, etc.), drive economically (spot a red light -> take your foot of the gas, etc.) and a lot more.

Everything is so packed here and loads of people on bicycles. On average around 1/3rd of the whole population is on a bicycle on every day.. :P So you have to watch out for them

I never even had a test, except for my CDL

I think I'm around 200k total miles without any accidents so far so good

I passed my theory test when I was 15, I got 100% too. I remember there were 3 questions I wasn't too sure about so I left them to the end. I took an educated guess and got them all right . Also passed both practical driving tests first time too. I was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally nervous though
