Default Custom Program/Code to Organize VBulletin Posts Etc.

I don't know squat about programming (besides nooby Simba stuff).
But I was wondering how hard would it be to create a program which you could feed a bunch of links to VBullsuch as :
    http://www.sythe.org/11760223-post556.html

And have it Extract the UserName (or user image, which the user has one in this case), any cups/ranks the user has, and the text of the message.

And then paste, organized, and number each post onto a webpage for easy clean viewing?

I'd totally like a program/code which could do something like that, anyone care to discuss it or give it a shot?

Seems like something not too terribly hard for some of the experienced programmers here, let me know about the difficulty of the project and what kind of things it would entail.

So, just to be clear, you (the user) would manual give it links and then information would be extracted from the direct link like that, right?

Asking that because typically scrapers are made so you just give it a "main" sort of page (like http://www.sythe.org/account-upgrade...-upgrades.html in this case), that it would then go through every post and get information from each post. You could have it filter posts based on keywords (vouch, bought, thanks, etc.), user status (banned/donor/guru/active/whatever, I dunno sythe's ranks, but you get the idea), or whatever.

So would you be looking for the former or latter?

You got it, and yea you guessed right I wanted to feed it links to only vouches, but keyword would help get most such as vouch, thanks, bought, etc, but I'd just like to do manual in cause the keywords aren't used in a specific post, but hey as long as it gets most of the vouch posts I'm happy.

Well it should be able to get them all, and obviously it could list out all the messages in a smaller format than the forum posts that you can manually go through and pick up any that it missed.

I'm just saying on the off-chance the user didn't happen to say any of the keywords then it would be missed.

Yeah, and that's why you could also just have it list all of the posts that didn't have any keywords. And it could also have the manual entry of posts if needed for some reason.

I needed once to make manual entries for keywords but couldn't find a way to do it. Missed all of the relevant information there.
