I see no problem with kissing family members on the lips. I give most the female family members a peck on lips no more than second whether I'm greeting or saying goodbye except my nanny doe (RiP) she used to chase around with her false teeth used to scare the crap out of me.
my dad tho I can't even give that old git a hug without getting called a faggot or a puff

But I do agree it does depend on your upbringing as a lot my friends don't. Kiss their mum or whoever on the lips.

For me I find it really gross haha! would not want my mom laying a big wet one of my lips that's for sure! But it really depends on how you were brought up, like if your parents did this, then you would think its normal and do it to your children and so on and so forth.

most of my family does it, we're very european tradition (hungary) I don't, I've always been very emotionless though as most of my family (cousins, aunts, uncles etc) all say. That's why I follow the religion of the jedi.

Lol, I'm serious though.. if I were any religion, that'd be it.. I don't agree with Atheists, most are too extreme.. I guess if I was anything else it would be apathetic.

Hungary now is very different from Hungary 80 years ago... as is most of the world.
It's sad to see traditions you have to go to east coast America where most European traditions still exist, and aren't practiced where they originate from... just part of human evolution though

pretty soon we'll all be one big smashed up pot and everyone, no matter where we live, will be pretty much the same.. (due to the internet mostly)

That doesn't have much to do with the kissing, but that just is showing how much it really does not matter where you're from.

^ That is true. Its just a matter of time before we all become the same. Unless we destroy each other first with nuclear weapons but that is a whole other subject.
