So hey guys, this test came up on my test today and am wondering if I did it right:
An area of a square has the equation of 16x^2 - 24x + 9. Find the perimeter of the square.
What I did
Factored the equation into s^2 = A[]
(4x-3)(4x-3) = 16x2 -12x - 12x + 9 = (4x-3)^2
Since the perimeter of a square is 4s, am i correct in doing
(4x-3)(4) = 16x-12
P = 16x - 12?
