Unhappy New botter looking for friendly help?

Hey guys, not asking you to do anything for me, like the anti-leach, but I've been looking, and it's a little hard to understand how it's done. Could someone tell me how anti-leach works? I'm assuming the author of the script(s) makes minor changes to it, and they want you to fix it before you get to use it, How would one solve one of those effectively?

srl is a community based upon learning, not necessarily botting (though we do that heavily as well). because of this, some scripters get annoyed when tons of new members (from pbot) come over and just start begging for scripts without even trying to learn anything. we just have a different mindset here than other communities.

anti-leeches are put into scripts by some authors to force new members to learn atleast something. they are simply intentional errors in scripts that will make people open up a beginners tutorial to solve them.
generally, anti-leeches are VERY basic (like changing a letter).

When people say 'antileech', it's not just something that's the same for every single script.

An anti leech is something that's purposely messed up so that the user will have to find it and fix it on their own, therefore causing them to gain knowledge before just bumming a script off someone, or 'leeching' it.

Let me just get mine up too by opening a thread asking for help with whats already been posted about a million times, and I was too lazy to search for help before asking,

Please try and be nice to people when they try to help you nobody gives them anything for replying to you, they help because they simply want to help, treat others how you wish to be treated

Solving anti-leech is basically going to require you to have the knowledge to write a basic script for Simba, because theres error(s) you need to fix yourself, so you will need to read the tutorials if you have no programming background (hence he linked the forum section for you)

Programming is like trying keep a wall of shifting sand up, you fix one thing but somewhere else starts crumbling
