It depends on whether or not you wrote those scripts. While it is against Villavu rules to sell or advertise the selling of scripts here, some villavu members visit other sites to sell scripts they write.

If you do sell a script elsewhere, you MUST receive permission from anyone whose code you use. If you take any snippets of code from anyone else, not only must they be credited, but they have to give permission for you to sell it. Code that other people wrote is their property, stealing it for profit is still against the law.

Edit: Noted Agreement with Le Jingle. You cannot sell SIMBA, SMART or any Open-Source software.
This is all my opinion and belief on the matter and does not imply that I understand the entirety of the related laws on the subject.

`` legal '' is not easily distinguishable given a number of factors.
I know that other user's have had sites where they sell scripts made in simba, however they're acting from their own perspective/terms. Granted villavu is open source, and resides under the Public GNU license, I think as long as you don't sell intellectual work that you didn't make (i.e. Simba, SMART, other user's scripts, include files), then anything (ex. a script to be ran within Simba) thereafter (note anything I might have missed in mentioning what not to copy, I'll say #disclaimer ) is again on your own terms.

This doesn't mean I encourage actions stated above.
Honestly, why would anyone pay for simba scripts when there's an entire forum of perfectly good scripts that run on-end?
(I can only assume users are after a quick buck - in which I discourage as I believe it to be immoral)

In short, think before you do

The knowledge of programming, it really teaches you how to think.
The information you gain here is invaluable.

Besides learning, you can/do gain ranks which will grant you access to more and more things. For example, as a "Registered User," your rank, you can see and access public scripts and information. After 6months and 300 posts (with some exceptions), you can attain the "Junior Member" rank, which grants access to more private information, resources, and the Black Market, where real-world trading occurs. Then, above Junior Members are "Members," (such as Le Jingle, Sin, or myself) who have proven themselves active contributing members, as well as fairly competent scripters through an application process and we have access to even greater resources. (There are ranks even above us, for that matter)

You could get valuable feedback from people using the script such as suggestion and bug reports but most importantly you can make a lot of people happy and earn some respect in the community.

It is further stipulated that you can't supply source code that has been hindered or requires additional information to run; it can't be "obfuscated" (compare with tivoization/not fulfilling "the freedom to change the software to suit your needs"). As a consequence, web-authentication is pointless.
The jealous temper of mankind, ever more disposed to censure than
to praise the work of others, has constantly made the pursuit of new
methods and systems no less perilous than the search after unknown
    lands and seas.

    Rep+.

Yes, you can sell your own scripts on a separate website, not on Villavu. And these scripts must have been written by you, and any parts you've used from somewhere else you must have gotten permission from whomever wrote that piece. Be sure all credits are given where due, BenLand100 for SMART, Wizzup? & others (?) for Simba and whatever developer team for any includes you utilize in your script.

Also, as said before, you cannot advertise your website here on Villavu.

I see what you're talking about, but Villavu has strict rules pertaining to plagiarism.
